Clear rules, decisions with context
Moderation exists to keep conversations comfortable and safer. When context is available, a report is not assessed from one isolated line alone.

Community rules explain which behaviour is and is not acceptable.
Context matters
Staff can review available context to assess a situation as carefully as possible.
Proportionate action
Warnings, restrictions or bans can be used depending on severity and repetition.
What can be reported?
Threats, harassment, discrimination, unwanted sexual pressure, spam, scams, sharing someone else’s sensitive information or deliberately disrupting the chat.
How is a report assessed?
Staff considers available information, severity, context and, where relevant, earlier behaviour. A report is a signal to review a situation, not automatic proof that one side is correct.
Possible actions
A situation can result in guidance, a warning, a temporary restriction, removal from a room or a temporary or permanent ban.
Enforcement is not public entertainment
Individual moderation cases are not turned into public arguments. If an action affects you, use the relevant contact route for questions.

Does every report cause a ban?
No. Reports are assessed and the response depends on severity, context and relevant repetition.
Can I ask about an action taken against me?
Yes. Use the contact route and provide enough information to identify the situation.
