You can enter the Mainroom with a guest name. No full profile is required for that first visit. Speelcafé is for registered members; the separate Darkroom is only available to registered and verified visitors aged 18 or older.
A nickname limits what other chatters immediately know about you, but it does not make a conversation completely untraceable or automatically safe. Do not share your address, phone number, passwords, payment details or media you would not want forwarded.
Read along for a moment and respond to a topic that is already active. An open question about someone’s day, hobby or region usually works better than several separate greetings. Respect it when someone does not want to reply or start a private conversation.
The website and chat adapt to different screen sizes. You do not need to install an app: a current browser and a stable internet connection are enough. A profile makes it easier to return recognisably on different devices.
